Vinted Members Express Anger Over Size Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present a different size category compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the new system was more in line with other platforms.
The platform has recommended to check their listings and manually change the size when needed, resulting in member annoyance.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Previously, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range like S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Stories
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, from Glasgow, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Manual Updates
A different user, located in England, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Platform Context
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: earlier, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options after backlash from users.
